The exercises can look small, but you’ll quickly understand why small doesn’t mean easy.

Your instructor will guide you through a series of controlled exercises on the mat, with clear instructions and different options offered along the way.
Some classes may also include simple equipment such as bands, balls or Pilates rings to add variety and challenge.

Absolutely. You don’t need any previous Pilates experience to join a class.
Your instructor will guide you through each movement and offer different options where needed. You’re always welcome to slow down, take a break or ask a question.

Mat Pilates works your whole body, with plenty of focus on your core, posture, balance, mobility and control.
You may feel muscles working that you didn’t even realise were there.

Mat Pilates
A considered, full-body class with steady, controlled movement. This is a good place to begin if you’re new to Pilates or prefer working on the mat.
Mat Pilates with Props
The foundations of Mat Pilates with extra equipment used to add resistance, support or a different challenge.
Power Pilates Hot
A stronger heated class with a little more pace and intensity. Check the timetable description before booking if you’ve not attended before.

Wear something comfortable that allows you to move freely and bring a water bottle.
If it’s your first class, arrive a few minutes early so we can welcome you, help you settle in and answer any questions before you begin.

Mat Pilates is performed on a mat using your body weight and sometimes small pieces of equipment. Reformer Pilates uses a machine with springs, straps and a moving carriage.
Both can help you build strength and confidence in your movement. They simply challenge your body in different ways.
